Week 1 of JuJu’s Gardening Journey

This is the very beginning! I still have some items to plant but here is a list of what I plan to grow:

  • Beef steak tomatoes
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Corn
  • Red pepper
  • Jalapeno
  • Sweet Potatoes
  • Watermelon
  • Okra
  • Spring onions
  • Green beans
  • Bibb lettuce
  • Mesclun lettuce
  • Cucumber
  • Yellow squash
  • Zucchini
  • Cilantro
  • Basil
  • Black berries

Week 1

Week 1 – Monrovia containers: Bibb lettuce and mesclun lettuce; Beef steak tomato in caged container; Blue-lined container: Spring onions, Black container back left: Cilantro
Week 1 – Container 1 (bottom of image): cherry tomatoes, jalapenos and basil; Container 2: Red peppers and jalapenos; Container 3: Sweet potatoes

I purchased the containers at Lowes. The matching containers were $24.99 each, and the green one was $14.99 in-store.

    • Shalom sissy and all praises to the Father for all works that bring Him glory. You can certainly plant some items indoors. As long as you have an area to set your plants that gets plenty of sunshine, you can certainly get this done! YouTube is a wonderful resource. Just put in the type of plant you want to grow indoors, and asks for a step-by-step tutorial to getting it done.
