Berry Delicious Fruit Salad

This yummy fruit salad is a delicious balance of sweet and tart, and is perfect for Sabbath. Enjoy with a little whipped cream, or vanilla yogurt for a snack, and throw some granola in the mix for a breakfast on the go.

  • 2 – 6oz containers of Golden berries

  • 2 – 1 pint containers of blueberries

  • 1 – 16oz container of strawberries

  • 1 Granny Smith apple, cored

  • 1/2 mango, peeled

  • Juice from 1/2 lime

  • 3 – 5 leaves of mint (more if you’d like a stronger flavor)

  • Wash all fruit completely and set aside. I like to add my berries to an ice bath to plump them up and make very cold, but this is only my preference.
  • Cut golden berries in half, and strawberries either in half or quarters. Leave blueberries whole. Refrigerate until needed.
  • Cut apple and mango into pieces and juice using a juicer. Squeeze lime juice into the mango/apple mixture. Add mint leaves and muddle very well to extra minty flavor. Feel free to add more leaves if you’d like a stronger mint flavor.
  • Retrieve berries and place in a bowl. Pour the juice mixture over the berries, and coat all pieces completely. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow juices to incorporate. Enjoy!
